This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I never studied art, I really dont know where this comes from. I had art in HIGH school, 2 classes. One I was kicked out of and the other was basically "keep the animals occupied for 45 minutes". I guess all I've learned has been from the net, books, other people, and my fascination with renaissance art (how the hell did they do that?).Luckily, living close to Antwerp (Rubens was an Antwerp boy)gives me a good oppurtunity to see lots of great artwork up close.

Miss you, Guru! Are you ok, my dear? Busy this, busy that we didn't got a nice talk lately and, apart of that, I miss your hugs, plans (I've picked an eye below ), and good sense of humour. Oh and the stars. I would love two or 3 lines from you to know you're ok, at least! ++
/// There you are, 3 lines. Ok, I know its a dumb joke. I am fine, dear Shachar, working on 3 paintings now. I like doing the "Lyrics in Oil" series, so much great music (once upon a time) to get inspiration from. I'm waiting for an answer if I've been accepted to take part in a pretty big art show in Antwerpen. Fingers crossed! Yes, I miss chatting with you too, don't see you much anymore I hope YOU are ok and happy and busy with art and photography. So here are a bunch of , and and of course, lots and lots of Happy to see you again!
Awww! Many congratulations, Guru. I hope you will have the possibility to sell something too on this art show. Ok, now I guess I would like to pick an eye , sniff a star there, to see. Will you, by chance, take the camera with you? But of course I will keep my fingers crossed. WIsh you many wonderful moments out there and lot of fans. New inspirations and models too... (Guru need models more than ... lavender! ) So, go for the best! Officially I'm fine and more then ok, but not so much into art lately. Apart of Da and self "indoctrinating", I mean. Happy to see you again too, dear Alan!
Lazy? Definitly. A bum? Nah, not yet. Well this years art shows came to a close with a fantastic sales record of...0. Damn Belgians and Dutch would rather save their money and go to Spain in the winter than buy my paintings. Can't blame 'em either, really. I came back from like 170°F in Israel to grey, rainy , cold. But lots of time to paint. I'm doing a new series of ideas: lyrics in oil. Taking songs and painting them as I "see" them. Guess that comes from reading a lot as a kid (still love reading) and being able to visualize the story in my imagination. Later on came LSD and other things which also made me visualize things that weren't always there. But since I usually listen to music while I'm painting, I suppose this was a logical course. So yeah, that's the new direction, but still keeping to Renaissance rules and methods...sort of. I have 2 paintings going now and a 3rd (self portrait!) in the rabbit hide gesso glue stages. Yeah, this bum keeps busy! I mean, not the way the English mean bum... ...
